The trough of low pressure over Guangdong had weakened this morning. A southerly airstream brought hot weather to the south China coastal areas during the day. Locally, it was cloudy with a few showers and sunny periods. Temperatures rose to above 32 degrees over parts of the New Territories in the afternoon. The southerly airstream is expected to bring mainly fine and hot weather to the south China coastal areas in the next few days.
