Under the influence of a ridge of high pressure, local weather was fine and very hot today. The Observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 32.9 degrees in the afternoon, the highest so far this year. Temperature at Sheung Shui even rose to 34.4 degrees. The ridge of high pressure will continue to bring generally fine weather to southern China in the next few days.
