The southwest monsoon is bringing showers and hot weather to the south China coastal areas and the northern part of the South China Sea. At 8 p.m., Typhoon Ewiniar was centred about 680 kilometres south of Okinawa. It is forecast to move north-northwest at about 12 kilometres per hour in the general direction of Ryukyu Islands.

Hot with isolated showers. Sunny periods tomorrow. Temperatures will range between 28 and 32 degrees. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.
